Shades of Being. Chapter 1

In a sloppy evening, while scrolling down a list of movies to beat the boredom, BINGO! I found a movie titled “Agora”, thought it could be some kind of horror genre. You know, I am the kind of person who has trust issues with everything, means IMDB guy. The IMDB reviewer’s summary of this movie not so appealing too. Anyhow, I decided to watch this, apparently hooked by its title!

The first thing I had to learn is how much we are pulled by even an unnoticed small thing. The ‘just’ title of the movie strikes the curiosity and make me watch or indulge. The psychological phenomena may play here which attracts us products having crazy advertisements. It is a double-edged sword, having both positive and negatives. By the way, the choice of watching “Agora” was a life-changing moment.

Life-Changing! Yeah. Some things can be a crazy influencer out of unexpected context. Here the movie “Agora” was such an element of influence which subtly shaken my foundational euphoria. Throughout my childhood, I was told the stories of Prophets and their “Breezy” looks and heavenly revelations. The feel-good phenomena about ‘launching’ a religion and making it for life for billions of lives are continuously presented as a gift.

But the movie Agora gave me a chance to revisit the ‘feel good’ element and spirituality of what I believed and inculcated into my life. Yes, the picture of Splattering Blood everywhere was the element I missed when the stories of prophets told. Even the wars, tortures and death events of the history of religious launches were made romantic. Religions including Buddhism have the shades and shares of its own blood spattering to preach the peace. Overshadowed by the emotions rather than rationality.

Of course, religions have their own advantages – Disciplines – even when no one is watching us. The proportionality of life we pay for that discipline is a matter of concern. The inherent nature of man makes religions more lethal and it defeats the purpose of its own existence. Saving the religion became more important than being in religion, unfortunately even being a human has no weight in practical application of religion.

We, humans, take emotions as granted because it soothes our hearts and makes us feel good. The feel-good element of religion in personal spheres has a utility of “Hope”. Religions give purpose for our life and a chance to escape from the fear of “Oblivion”. When it comes into larger picture religion is a weapon of manipulators against weaker hearts who seek shelter in nowhere to find the purpose of existence.

In theory, religion has everything, in privacy, it has utility when coming into the practical dimension as ideologies in the level of nations, it is scaring!

(Thoughts are personal. Everyone thoughts, believes and practices have “being” and element of truth. Let’s celebrate the differences and thoughts are colourful)

With Thoughts,

ya feels good. BEING IN RELIGION IS NOT MATTER MORE IMPORTANT IS SAVING THE RELIGION. YES TODAY THEY USING THIS WORDS AND MASSACRING HUMANITY. AND IN EVERYWHERE THEY ERASING RELIGIOUS PLURALISM.

THOUGH RELIGIOUS REVEALS GOOD THOUGHTS BUT THE FOLLOWERS FORGET TO REALIZE THE GEOGRAPHICAL BASED LIFE LIKE FOOD,CLOTHES etc., its going popular nowdays and they creating if you like this it will be meaningful life. THEY SHADOWED THE CORE OF RELIGION AND TRY TO SHINING THE FEATHERS.

It is very clear that the author is IDEALISTIC and wants a better peaceful surrounding. But what the author misses is its not only the path of religions ended in blood shattering but the so called RATIONALITY has its own history of blood shattering. Romanticism towards religious launching has been part and parcel of history and romanticism of violence for a cause is also an usual phenomenon in history. The author clearly misses to draw a boundary between IDEOLOGY AND IDEOLOGIST. It was not Buddhism that ended in blood shatter, actually it was the Buddhist who lost the way, became self centric, driven by material world where the ''people'' lost the Rationality and not the ideology. While emphasizing Rationality the author himself/herself lose rationality by judging how much one should pay or whether one should pay or not for the discipline it is subjected to individual limits and doesn't claims superiority over other discipline. The author is very right about religion being in privacy. The inherent nature of man might make religion lethal those things are misguided due to the misguided nature of man, but without religion it might make him evil and worsens. Coexistence and acceptance is the key.
